Claire is the Programme Director, leading on the development, management and delivery of Each and Every Child initiative. She has a strong passion and commitment to ensuring the voices of people with lived experience are at the core of service development.

Claire has worked extensively in the creative industries, both statutory and third sector, working directly with people who have lived experience of mental health challenges, homelessness, addictions, violence, poverty and the criminal justice system. The prevalence of people with experience of the care system deeply affected her and inspired her to change her career path. Her personal and professional ambition is to create a safer, fairer more equitable society where all individuals are supported to participate and flourish. She is also a foster carer.

Michael leads on Each and Every Child’s framing support to organisations, focussing on how framing can be adapted and embedded in different areas of work, including communications, policy and organisational development. Michael has a keen interest in equality, diversity, inclusion and participation, having previously worked as a Senior Programmes Officer at Stonewall Scotland supporting public sector, third sector and educational organisations across Scotland understand how they can ensure their workplace and services are inclusive of all LGBT+ identities.

An experienced facilitator, he has previously worked as a youth worker to help support young people into employment, training or self-employment. Michael has previously volunteered as a Panel Member in Glasgow, and has volunteered for the Scottish Refugee Council. Michael currently sits on the board of a community organisation in the Southside of Glasgow.

Lucy is the Communications and Design Officer for Each & Every Child. She joins Michael and Claire in the day-to-day running of the initiative and continues to build her understanding of its work, seeing first-hand the value of lived and learned experience – how it can inform services and programmes and create meaningful systemic change that reflects the needs and desires of its communities. She leads on the initiative’s visual identity, digital communications and supports resource development, ensuring that our guidance and materials are aligned with our values.

She brings her own experience of kinship care and takes an active interest in and around the politics of mental health, trauma and counselling. She has recently undertaken COSCA’s Counselling Skills course.

Tamsyn Hyatt is Director of Evidence at FrameWorks UK. She works to understand how people think about social issues – and what changes those things. An expert in narrative and strategic communications, Tamsyn works with mission-driven organisations across Europe to translate framing research into practice on such issues as health inequality, homelessness, child welfare and access to justice.

Before joining FrameWorks, Tamsyn headed digital and strategic communications at the Equality and Diversity Forum, a network of organisations working to advance equality and human rights. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, holds a bachelor’s degree in history and an MA from the University of Cambridge.
